i have a 95 golf 3 dr gti6v, 165k miles, not brilliant cosmetically but mechanically sound and still drives well.

mot march 2010, tax same will need some work come next mot which i can't afford

whats the best way to move it on now, not looking for much around £400ish

autotrader? gumtree? ebay? scrapyard? not sure what to do but need to get rid

Autotrader, anything under a grand only costs a tenner on the web, put my old merc on there and had a call within 15 minutes, sold to the same bloke within the hour. Lots of calls.

zedsdead it will probably need some welding to the u/side not sure of the extent though and an ABS sensor. it had a new clutch, discs, pads etc at last MOT so these are fine. no other issues that i know of.

thanks for all other input will try some/all of the suggestions
