Am moving down to Wareham in a few weeks and want to know what good riding there is to be had, along with any other local highlights.

Cheers all.

Purbecks is good n scenic
There is some fun to be had in Wareham woods and there is a downhill park somewhere near Blandford I think.
Piddle Valley / Puddletown might be good as well. I dont know i just wanted to type that.

Check out Dorset Rough Riders website.

Wareham forest is ok for on your doorstep type stuff, puddletown forest isnt too far and is ok, purbecks are on your doorstep and ukbikepark near blandford isnt too far for you either. I could think of worse places to live but I have heard a rumour that some of the wareham locals have a few too many digits on their feet.
I work about 10 mins from Wareham.
