Need some very bog standard steel wheels and tyres for my car. A quick google reveals lots of shops I don't know or recognise as I have very poor knowledge in that area.
Can anyone suggest somewhere to spend the money?
I've bought rims through eBay and got tyres fitted and them swapped over by Blackcircles.

It used to be the case it was surprisingly cheap and easy to buy steel 'winter wheels' from dealerships. They'll also know what sizes you can use etc. For example my Skoda comes with 19" alloy wheels, but doesn't have massive brakes so the winter option is a 17" steel with taller profile tyres to give the same external circumference.
This was a looooong time ago, but VW Golf Winter wheels were about £20 each.
