[Closed] Where to meet-up with a friend in Guildford for a meal?

There's Thai Terrace about halfway up the High Street and Rumwong, right up the top. Not been to Thai Terrace, but Rumwong is excellent.

Is it a 'special' friend? RW and TT are both relatively posh / formal in my experience. There's another down Jeffries Passage (oo-er) called Sir and Madam which always gets good reviews and is a bit more 'everyday'.

Other than that, tonnes of good restaurants of all types. Classy Italian at Cambio, or Jamies food is excellent; nice steaks and meat at Cao up near the Rum Wong, plenty of chain eateries, a Loch Fyne....

There's also a nice Chinese banquet / buffet place just outside Guildford on the Worplesdon Road - Beijing
