Where to live around Huddersfield/Halifax? – Page 2 – Chat Forum

Feeling inspired after a recent thread so ...... we live in north Leeds but want to move west to make life a lot easier getting to work in Manchester and Kirklees areas. Don't know the area that well (originally from South Manchester), does anyone know any nice areas to live with the following?: - nice residential area - near (10-15mins walk) to decent real ale pubs & places to eat - good bus routes to get into town - near to train station - near to amenities swimming pool, shops, library etc - no kids so don't care about schools - easy access on bike to the moors/hills on bridleways not roads if possible - reasonably close to M62 i.e. 10 mins away - not too high up to avoid being snowed in thanks

Some people just dont appreciate their surroundings...doh...3 valleys, wot more do ya need..i just ignore the shit....and get out riding......no where is perfect and thers always shit around the next corner wherever you go...daveboywonder.... Put that in your piece pipe n chill...lol
