I want to go camping this weekend. Would prefer by the sea.
Ideally mid wales, can anyone recommend a good site?
Pencelli Castle camp site, near Brecon.
Not by the sea, but right in the heart of the Beacons. The Gap ride goes past the gate.
2nd Pencelli Castle....truly luxurious mind, not really back to nature stuff! couldn't believe they had fresh flowers in the (centrally heated)gents last time I went there!

mid Wales seaside campsites tend to be massive parks of static caravans.
The campsite at Rhyader is good for biking.
If you want somewhere really scenic and peaceful look at Tyllwyd in Cwmystwyth.
We stayed at the camping & caravan club site at Cardigan Bay a few years ago. Really nice site, lots of walking but not much biking.
