Hi all,

Just bought a new camera, so want to get a new SD card for it. Takes HD videos and what not, so would like something half decent, speed wise, not just the cheapest I can find like I normally get.
Looking for anything between 4 and 16gb, depending on price.

Im guessing its dodgy buying off ebay, any recommendations on where to buy? Any one seen any good deals?
And what makes/models are decent? Dont want to spend crazy money, but as said, want something half decent.

Ta, Duane.

I've got a couple of Transcend cards from mymemory, prices seemed decent and the cards are fine. Strangely class 10 was cheaper than class 6.

Either play.com or 7dayshop.

Just bought a cheapish 4gb Sandisk 20mb/s one and though it is meant to be the same speed as other class 6, it is definately faster.

7 day shop here.

Watch the "play trade" elements of Play.com. I was sent snide stuff from a "play trade" seller. Its for that reason I wouldn't use Play again. They were next to useless in sorting the problem out and internet searches said as much too.

I have always used Offtek http://www.offtek.co.uk maybe you can get it cheaper elsewhere, but they have always been good for me and have some good tools to talk you thru what memory you need, usually producing a number of results, size, make, speed etc

I buy Sandisk, go by the MB/s speed and not the name as they use the same name for different speed cards. But they have been very reliable. I have a couple of 2GB and 8GB ones the 2GB ones several years old and still work just fine.

Amazon or Memorybits for me.
