One big slice if I'm cutting, two 'normal' slices if it's already cut.

Top tip for Stanmer Park riders: When cueueing at the tea rooms, try to juggle your cue position to get the younger lad to serve you - The older woman is usually a bit stingy on the portions. I think the young lad must have entered Big Dog and is trying to sabotage everyone's power to weight ratios with crazy portion sizes (more power to him!)
Take one big slice of cake.

Best washed down with gourmnet coffee too for the ultimate cake experience.
Speaking of cake... I had the [b]!BEST CAKE OF MY LIFE![/b] at [url= http://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/hughenden-manor/ ]Hughenden Manor[/url] on Saturday. The lamb hot-pot I followed it up with was also superior to the normal fare at Nat. Trust properties and really put the tracle tart at Cliveden the following day to shame.
The riding looked decent too, nice woods, flowy singletrack - quite a lot of it being bridleways, and good scenery.
Shame I'm injured and haven't ridden for the past 2 weeks.

I try not to stand on cake, but if I have to, then either in a shop or someone else's house. So I dont have to clean up the mess.
Banana or wallnut loaf for me, preferably the non-stood on kind my wife makes. Yummy
I cant eat cake. Unless its gluten/wheat free, but theres not many nice ones. 😥

This was a lovely bit of cake (accompanied by a rather nice cup of earl grey) at the "Small and Cosy Teahouse" on Skye last weekend. Awesome little place, I can't recommend it enough if your up that way touring.
