We have a few posters (not copywrited) which we want to be scanned and printed for re-sale in low numbers.

One is 100x70 (cm) the other is 70x300 (cm).

Can anyone recommend someone who can scan and possible clean-up (imprefections, electronically) such things?

Usually much less hassle to photograph rather than scan large things like that - that's what I do.

Where are you based Moe?

The trouble with scanning something that is printed, whatever the size, is that you pick up a moire from the original CMYK separations. I seriously doubt you'll get a good enough result to produce a sale-able print

Based in the Midlands. How do people reproduce prints of old posters normally?

Most reproductions are done from original source files.

Have a Google search for your nearest professional digital reprographics house Moe. They'd be able to advise you on the best way to go about it

Plenty of software available to reduce/eliminate moire effects.

As Bencooper, if it were me and I wanted a good quality reproduction, I'd have the source Plan Photographed.

Try John E Wrights, based in Nottingham.

OK thanks for the advice, can you recommend anyone who does open source photography?
