Im doing the 3 Peaks CX in a couple of weeks time.

I want to get some pipe lagging for the top tube.

I remember seeing a few years back some flexible pipe lagging stuff. Not the normal stuff that only bends so far and then snaps, this stuff was much more flexible.

The reason I want it is to slightly protect my shoulder, but more because it will actually help keep the bike on my shoulder.

So where can you buy the flexible stuff?

Ta

B&Q for foam stuff and wrap a bit of old inner tube around or use self sealing tape also from B&Q.

Cheers that's the type of stuff I was after .

The inner tube thing would work too failing that!

Ads678 - the inner tube idea is fantastic. The bike stays put on my shoulder and doesn't move around at all. Makes carrying way way easier and actually ends up bruising the shoulder less

Cool, glad it works. Did you use lagging as well or just inner tube?
