okay so I don't know the first thing about children's toys. Where is good to buy them? (Preferably on line as I can't be bothered to face hordes of people). Any suggestions on what to buy a new born? (For my best friend who's baby is due imminently).

Early Learning Centre (if you have one locally) is probably your best bet.
