Just watched an advert for beer. Not a particular brand, just beer. Good beer, crap beer, any beer. I agree with the sentiment, beer is blummin ace. But....

Eh? How am I supposed to know what brand I like??

The more interesting question is when are non-adverts adverts.

This beer advert is obviously a new make or model of swally about to be launched and they are just making sure you are paying attention when they launch it. You have a question now that you want answered.

Remember the big fuss about Michael Gove getting into trouble for quoting 'evidence of teenagers' ignorance of key historical events'

"Gove said in a Mail on Sunday article in March: "Survey after survey has revealed disturbing historical ignorance, with one teenager in five believing Winston Churchill was a fictional character while 58% think Sherlock Holmes was real."'

It turned out to be a 'survey' of children as young as 5, I'm not surprised if a 5 year old doesn't know who Sherlock Holmes is.

Anyway.... that was an an advert for Premier Inns.
