I'm up before the household and I've had my cold Chocolate Ready Brek. I nearly had a heart attack when they temporarily stopped making it a few years back. I'll make some fresh coffee to finish off shortly.

Disappointingly, we don't have any black pudding (not unusual, wife hates it) so I will be making do with bacon, mushrooms, beans & an egg on toast.

I made 2 pots of overnight oats for me and our 9 year old nephew last night. Layers of Bircher oats, fruit (bananas, strawberries, blueberries and rasberries) and Lidl "Greek style" yoghurt.
That'll do us for a few hours. ๐Ÿ™‚

Coffee and muesli

By the way, you can make chocolate Ready Brek by adding a bit of cocoa powder to the regular stuff.

I'm guessing you mean hot chocolate powder because cocoa powder is super bitter. Unless that's your thing? I like sweet myself.

Pancakes, fried in butter with sugar and lemon.
My daughter has them with some revolting french chocolate confection.

It's only once a week so we pig out!

I mean cocoa powder. Just half a teaspoon mixed in before you microwave it. I think Ready Brek is quite sweet anyway without sugar.

The options tend to be:

Nothing
Greek yoghurt with fruit
Porridge
Scrambled eggs on toast
Poached eggs on toast
Pancakes (American style) with blue berries and maple syrup

And sometimes more than one of those in the same sitting..!
