Wherever I move to, I plant a passiflora, which is the second one above - it's a climber and once I even had a passion fruit from it.

Thanks Yunki. My next post is going to be 'what's the best feeling you've had whilst lying in a field of barley looking up at the infinite majesty of an azure blue sky?', or perhaps 'Bikes. Why do we love them... so much?" This kind of content, I think, will put me on an elevated plane of existence. My neighbours shall be Desmond Tutu or Dalai Lama.

BTW, don't get me started on primroses. ****

Love.

My favourite Would probably have to be Cytherea. But I'm not sure if that fits the description of flower.

What a great theme.

Only recently have i been indulging myself in the delights of pollen providing nature.

Orchids and bleeding hearts have always provided me with a 'How wonderful' thought.

Now the close i look and more flowers i look at, i just think WOW!

Poppies and honeysuckle for me, love the redness of the poppies (they look really good in a field of corn) and love the smell of the honeysuckle esp on night rides mmmmmmmm

Rose, in fact any type of rose. The perfume, the loveliness of summer.
Oh and I make dried confetti out of the petals.

Succulent and cacti flowers are some of my favourites, partly I guess because they're fairly shortlived

Love any sort of blossom too, even though individually the flowers are maybe not all that special

I love the delphiniums and dahlias I've got in the garden but you can't beat a bluebell carpet...

We get a lot of Arnica round here, which is pretty cool. Occasionally see Monk's Hood which has a sort of hideous attractiveness (it's pretty ugly and frighteningly poisonous).

But my favourites are probably the Gentianes. Amazing blue colours.

I like any flower in a nice vase on top of a keyboard instrument, but tulips on my organ would be a favourite.
