Just binge watched 4 seasons of The Good Life on DVD. Not particularly recent though 🙂
Characters and story surprised me a bit by how relevant they still are. Margo is probably my fave but any of the 4 main roles are pretty darn good.
I know I’m late to the party but Gotham is pretty dam good.

The problem with The Wire (and yes, Omar, is the best character) is that it ruins the rest of television. Nothing else has come close.
Do think the Wire was the best, Vikings is ace and Breaking Bad was also really well done, but a few others i've enjoyed:
The Shield
Generation Kill
Tour of Duty (was on late at night as a lad and found it on DVD at last)
Hell on Wheels (great if you liked Black Sails i think)
Deadwood (very sweary and with a brilliant Ian McShane part in it)
