Mines gotta be The Guardian app along with Veggie Samurai.

I love the way I can just call people on my phone. It's great.
Oddly enough, so can I. I use the phone app. Unless you're talking about a dumb phone, that only does one or two things. Because I hardly ever make phone calls, I find having a phone that only makes phone calls incredibly restricting.
I like WeatherPro, HDR Pro, Starwalk, Autostitch, UK Map, Viewranger, Stanza, Kindle, iBooks and Shazam.
There's others that I use a fair bit, but I like those.
Bike hub is really good. It is a mapping app for bikes. Input your destination and it plots either the quickest, quietest, balanced or shortest route depending on your selection. Works really well so far and seems to know all the little shortcuts and cycle paths.
