Hora's frame was quite funny, especially the epilogue. His fake testimonial to Jedi threw up a couple of classic quotes too.

Hora as proven a classic within himself

Has to be Sudo-Cat.

Honourable mention - only a very small thread, but I did like this one about caterpillars

dodgy office goings on another good un

I'd second that - proper engrossed me.

...sums up most what I love about STW, a both serious and lighthearted intelligent discussion on something totally random by poeple that seem to know what they are talking about.

Pretty much sums up STW to be fair.

Enjoyed:

what exactly is dr who's tardis?

Yeah, that was a lot of fun.

possibly my fave "on topic" thread was the "sticker or crack?" thread. The fact it gets regularly recalled with every "is this a crack?" thread containing the reply "its a sticker" gives it real longevity. Kind of a sleeper hit, like Grosse Pointe Blank, rather than an A-lister franchise offering like any Hora bike thread.

Isn't it time to bring out "mugshots" again?... Wonder if it's been closed for being too old?

Paragraph of the year.

"Wanting to calm the cat before completing the rinse, I asked my daughter to go and get the cat treats (little crunchy Whiskas things) from downstairs. She came back wearing her cycle helmet and waving her 'emergency' Union Jack. This is a flag that she whips vigorously back and forth if a situation is deemed sufficiently dangerous. The situation in the bathroom became sufficiently dangerous and I now have holes in my Howies merino"

Brilliant !!

That was a great read the next day, from "WTF is this embarrassing drivel" through "Erm well maybe" to "Arise Sir Danny"
