Beef curry, half rice, half chips.
£3.50 from the chippy next to the Health Centre in Radcliffe.
Oh, the irony. 😀

Started a new job as a care worker last week, so not a fantastic rate of pay - still ended up spending £11.00 on food whilst out with my client yesterday!
Has anyone seen any willpower around anywhere?

Only to own a nice road bike Harry, but that may soon change!

BTW, Ms Spanners' street is on one of the Radcliffe election leaflets as a terrible example of Urban Decay.
We are soooo proud.............

Ton finally gets it right! Lunch at luncthime, dinner in the evening!

For me, it shall be a spot of leek and potato soup, with a nice bap or two. Maybe even a nibble on some stilton and salami as well.

Beef Stroganoff with wild rice, & possibly a few grapes for a sort of light afters.

Tonight I will be cooking Pan Roast Duck breast lightly dusted with Chinese 5 spice and some Pac Choi simmered in star anise stock, served on a bed of basmati rice with a drizzle of toasted sesame oil.
Perhaps a nice red Rioja will accompany it quite well as I seem to have a wine rack full of them at the moment 😉

The office canteen's attempt at Chicken and cheese burritos. For some reason, then look and taste nothing like the burritos I make and I feel ill now.

Wish I'd skipped now.

Houmous, Sun Dried Tomatees and Olive Tapanad on granary toast. Feeling a bit mediterranean this week, innit.

Rounded of with 3 custard creams and a latte.

Bread Pakora! I would never even imagined such a thing existed, now I can't imagine how I've managed to live without it.

Soy and ginger chicken with thai spice rice in a lettuce cup (M&S seem to have a new range) and a slice of Victoria sponge.

Freezer dinner for me too tonight, there maybe a scrap over the last of the bolognaise sauce and I don't really fancy the container labelled Nathans chicken thingy.

So why did my school have dinner ladies

but luncheon vouchers ? If it isn't lunch, when IS lunch ?

the pantheon of scoff:

breakfast
elevenses (AKA 2nd breakfast in Hobbit-speak)
lunch
dinner
tea
supper
& of course, the snack :o)

actually the only regular meal I have is breakfast (ie the first), otherwise I just eat on and off the time (but not in bed, that's just gross)...
