help me o' wise STW chaps and chapettes, after a foolish decision of getting a van last summer for bike duties and my commute to work I find that I cannot compromise anymore, the boredom of driving it is driving me mad.

I narrow my choice of cars between these 2, which some of you might have... which is which?

must be at least 150bhp and 320 Nm 236 lb-ft torque , 0-60 at least 8sec and can cruise 70mph in 1500rpm and can achieve 50mpg combined (diesel)

thanks

If you've narrowed it down to 2, just go and test-drive both!

And with this being STW - you should really buy an Octavia VRS!! 😀

Those aren't very demanding performance figures, fwiw... Scabby mondeo territory, raise your expectations a bit!

If it had to be one of those 2 I'd take the C-Class.

3 Series may be a great drive but car parks are full of them nowadays and just bored of seeing them(Gone off Audi's for the same reason).

Neighbour has the C-class above(and he by his own admission was a BMW man)rates it over the Beemers available nowadays.

I really like the look of Jag XF's ,might be worth taking a look in that direction too.
