If you had to cut a 4mm square channel all the way round a centre of a few rollerblade wheels? The wheels are plastic but the cut needs to be accurate and smooth. My best idea so far to attach the wheel to a electric drill and spin it while using a dremmel to cut it. Who's got a better idea?

wouldn't bother with the dremel you're just introducing one spinning thing to another. If you want accurate and smooth then you want to be cutting the groove with not grinding it - if you're spinning it on the drill you're effectively making a lathe. If you can clamp the drill securely you need to arrange some sort of secure tool rest then use a chisel to cut the groove.

Make sure you properly know what you are doing (if you have't used a lathe before) and make sure your eyes and all your arteries and anything else you would want a flying chisel jammed through are properly protected.

A good point, well made.
