An imaginary scenario.
The Queen has died and King Charles is on the throne.
The Duchess of Cambridge (or the Princess of Wales as she would then be) announces that she is pregnant.
King Charles and Prince William are both killed in a plane crash.
Who would be the next monarch, Harry, or the as yet unborn child (presumably with a regent in place until the birth, and probably for some time after that)?

Would it make any difference if Charles is killed instantly, but William survives for a couple of days (and so is King) but then dies of his injuries?

I presumed a monarch has to be "Crowned" for it to be official.
I don't think an unborn child can assume the throne - what if it dies before birth?

I don't think a corronation actually has to take place, this can be (and usually is) ages after the previous monarch has died, nearly a year in the case of our current queen for example

How'd you work out the volume of a mole?
I hope you didn't work it out from the weight of water it displaces when full submerged as that'd be quite cruel!
You could estimate it using an average flesh and bone density.

There'd definitely be a crown race in that scenario.

Were that scenario to happen she would be sort of single, technically widowed, but also pregnant with someone else's child.
