Bloke in work just admitted to being terrified of the Banana Splits, cue much japeage.

1. Daleks.
2. Getting found out.
1. Father Christmas
2. Tomatoes

Leopards. I could visualise them springing onto my back in the dark and sinking their fangs into me.
I don't think there were any in Durham in the 80s, so it was actually pretty irrational of me.
1. Clowns
2. Spiders (still not particularly fond of them..)
Daleks and cybermen.
Whatever was in the cupboard when the door was open.
That thing under the bed.
Bananaman. Really.
Ghost trains. I only went on one and hid in the footwell.
My brother was scared of the "Armchair Theatre" theme tune. So I used to sing it through his bedroom wall at night. "Da neeer na, dan neeer na" 🙂
Eskimos
Mongooses
oh and fish, but I still am terrified of fish, icthyophobia apparently.
Plants with really big leaves.
Wild Fungi/Mushrooms.
I have no idea why.
The Child Catcher from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. TBH he still gives me the creeps.
The Doctor Who theme tune used to send me behind the sofa every time. I'm OK now though. Still can't stand Doctor Who though, but it's not the theme tune now.
That's brought it all flooding back now thanks 🙂
+1 for the ChildCatcher.... And also NoseyBonk 😯
Seaweed and Giant Rabbits.
The dark - watched too many horror films as a kid and scared myself silly!
i was at a campsite over the weekend where there was a kid who was scared of the Moon.

it meant another half hour of Summer holiday morning boredom watchign badly dubbed Eastern European twaddle.
I loved the flashing blade, I got farmed out to my grandparents for the summer hols and it was the nearest we got to excitement all day.
ghost trains!!! GOD I HATED THEM!
cupboard stuff when its closed at night.. eeek
There was an old woman who lived on our street. Now normally we'd never go anywhere near her because she was clearly a witch but when we were trick or treating my mum told us we had to go knock on her door, to be polite (WTF?!).
So me and Mark knocked on her door, did our trick or treat bit and she gave us both an orange each. Oh, she's alright isn't she?
Later on, in Mark's house, we were watching TV and we both peeled our oranges and blood started pouring out of them!!!!!!!
BURN HER!!!! It was probably only when I got to adulthood that I found out there was such a thing as blood oranges.
Oh, and Girls in general.
focusing on the bigger picture there bimbler!
ha im still scared about getting nuked by koria or russia!
Trapdoor... he always had to ****ing open it!

It's not just me then!!! Really used to put the shits up me.
Was terrified that a giant hedgehog would roll into a ball and chase me down a hill, used to have recurring nightmares about it.
Think it came from a book my gran read to me as a kid.
+1 for the child catcher
Anyone have a phobia about people wondering across fields at night looking for fresh animal corpses to take home..?
I'll get my coat.
donkeys... and that horrible cat that we adopted from my gran that used to sit on the stairs hissing and spitting at me..

I had a real thing about surgical gloves.. I wathced twin peaks and there was a scene where the killer put some on.. 😯 it gave me a real thing until I went on my first first aid course when I was about 21
Oh, the hunchback of Notre Dam.. gave me nightmares for about a month, think I was about 5 when I watched it, I still remember some of the dreams I had though 😕
My stepmother and her mother.
Christopher Lees Dracula
Early sixties Dr Who back of the sofa here as well.
That ad about leaving the electric on and the house catching fire, I seriously blame that for my electrical/OCD behavior.
Oh and big boys with air rifles.
Until I was 7 or 8 - Bangs. At Christmas my dad had to take the snaps out of crackers.
I still don't like frights now - eg: horror films that make you jump - I hate that skin prickling adrenaline thing.
I had an irrational fear of wolves and can still remember a couple of the nightmares -like the one where our dog walked into the washing machine and came out as a wolf and bit me!!! 😳
Darkness
Nuclear War
Mark Martin (Thankfully he got put away. Sadly it was for killing someone)
Now I mostly fear the relatives
And jumps
Nuclear War
Spiders (lived in Australia so this was an entirely rational fear)
