I find the Metoffice site to be the most accurate, at least for south-west Scotland.

metoffice or xcweather. For some reason metcheck is hopelessly optimistic. But I only use it for forecast throughout the day and mainly for wind speed and direction. I'm not bothered about rain but I like to know if I'm going to be riding into a headwind.

I should add the metoffice is only accurate in my experience 48 - 24hrs prior to the day you are looking at, longer range than this and it's no good.

"hopelessly optimistic" is exactly the weather forecast I'd be looking for 😯

Metcheck seems to be ****ed for me just now.

"hopelessly optimistic" ? Yeah if you wanna go skiing or snowboarding!

It's 22C and sunny out, but Metcheck says 8C for today, but have changed tomorrows forecast from -2C and snowing to +2C.

I simply summon Beelzebub and ask him if there'll be showers tommorrow.

It seems to me like the truth is always halfway between metcheck and the bbc.

-2C and rain on thursday
-2C and heavy snow on sunday
18C and sunny on monday

I reckon tossing a coin to decide the weather will be more accurate.

look out of the window. Possibly lick finger.

Wouldnt that be a nowcast, not a forecast?
