I've got a small roll-top waterproof pouch, designed for keeping keys, phone etc. in, made by Alpkit I think.
It is a nice idea, but it turns out that it is only really water-resistant - I took it for an hours swim to test it with a fiver in it, and ended up with a very wet fiver.
Does anyone have something that is actually waterproof, not too bulky, and not easily breakable if I happen to fall on it or bang it on a rock, that could hold a few bits and pieces (probably just card, car or bike keys, money, although it'd be nice to be confident enough of it to be able to take a phone too).

These are pretty good...

And cos they roll like the alpkit bags to close can be rolled down to suit whatevers in there. Make excellent stuff sacks for sleeping bags (keeps down bags dry) and wet tents (keeps other kit dry).
Hmm.
Ziploc bags = not waterproof enough, leak at the zip bit after a while.
Bin bags = not waterproof, not sturdy.
Double fold over plastic 'swim wallets' - don't work - leak at the top.
The roll top nylon bags - I'm guessing they'll leak somewhere when bashed around and submerged for a long time.
Essentially I'm looking for something that will cope with being underwater for an hour or more, and won't mind a little bump against a rock or whatever every so often.
Aha - maybe this will do the job:
Try a small canoeing dry bag as they are designed to be waterproof even when immersed. LOMO do good stuff at sensible prices
The AlpKit/Exped drybags are for trekking/travelling/riding in wet places and not really designed for submersion (they do state this in their literature)
Pelican sell these cases in the US - take out the memory card insert and you'd have a waterproof and rugged box that's small enough to fit into a pocket. Likely to be available soon in the UK . . .

ipX4 water resistant - ie. not waterproof - designed to be splash proof. No good for sitting underwater for an hours swim.

Aha, the small 'dry boxes' that LOMO make appear to be something like what I might need (and they say they're waterproof enough for swimming). Annoyingly they say that their small and jolly convenient looking drybag isn't waterproof enough for swimming (it appears most drybags aren't really, because even in canoeing you don't usually leave the kit completely underwater for hours at a time).
Peli's "Micro" case (10X0) range gets IP67 rating (1m submerged for 30 mins). My experience of their cases is that a very light lubrication of the o-ring seals with silicon grease helps to keep them sealed in the splash zone; take them a little deeper underwater and the water pressure compresses the case lid onto the seal even tighter.
