So looking to get a watch that:
a: Tells the time
b: Is comfy
c: Durable
d: Has a stop watch
e: Looks good.

Anything else is a bonus.

For inexpensive watches I really like Swatch. Fun, light, comfy, reliable, the list goes on. Get a chrono for point d.

I got a really nice Citizen Eco-Drive for about £60 (down from nearly £200) from Argos last year.

£20?
There's quite a lot on the Argos site for a lot less than £50; the basic Casios for a tenner ought to do you.

Am I allowed to suggest Casio F91W or is that against the rules of STW watch threads?

£20?

Had one of those in the 90's. Lasted a good number of years till the strap went.

For the £30-£50 price point I like Sekonda, for that budget Seiko style.

For £20+/- can't go wrong with Casio

Casio watches are brill, never yet killed one. Better than lorus or seiko.

I can't quite find the one I used to have... It had a rubber strap, but was basically like this:

Bloody brill.

Variations:

Mine was only killed by a bloke with a spin-kick to a punchbag. I was holding the bag, and he connected with my arm!

In passing I have one of these

(Tissot t035407)

I need to sell. Looking for offers around £150. Had it a year or so, beautiful, but I can't justify not selling it when I'm so broke. More info available, or I'll ebay it.

Depends on what you mean by better; there are Seikos that would pwn any Casio, and my Seiko would probably pwn my Casio, I have the Casio for work to avoid the Seiko getting gouged by machinery.

What's wrong with Tissot? I love the 2 I've had [one was stolen], but if I can sell that one- I should.
