Wheelchair basketball, these guys are amazing. The hits they take and shrug them off and carry on. Hats off to you Sirs.
Not sure about basketball, but most of the wheelchair badminton players I've seen use tyres very similar to those you find on a road bike, Schwalbe offerings etc.
They said the basketball chairs run high-pressure road tyres, a couple blew out tonight. Schwalbe, Vredstein, I guess.
I saw a guy in a chair at the skatepark yesterday, WCMX he calls it. Schwalbe road tires on his chair, says they last about 2 months before they wear out.
He's got 2 Fox air shocks set up on the rear/main axle to absorb some of the hit kinda' like a dirt jump fork, set up real stiff.
Not every day that you see someone wearing a full face downhill or moto helmet in a wheelchair...
