I've got a load of old IT books, lots of them over 10 years old from when I was at uni. What's the best way to get rid of them? Most are in great condition - almost as if they were never opened 😉 . Charity shop; library? Too good for the tip surely?
over 10 years old may well be just too outdated - unless they're stock textbooks (and even they get new editions).
I tried with some books I bought about 8-9 years ago - tried on eBay for some of them, stock books were OK but postage was quite spendy.. In the end the ones I couldn't offload (but thought were useful) I took to local college.
Time capsule.
If theres a HCI or C book you could try summoning the spirit of Mr. Jobs?
If there are any programming books i'd take them for my students mail in profile
Recycling if they're obsolete (and anything 10 years old probably is).
I use them as a monitor stand
I put all my old chemistry ones on Amazon market place. Sold all of them.
