Hi

Im porting out of Giffgaff after the weekend and my account has about a tenner in it

Their T&C's say I cant get it refunded or transferred to the missus account only donate to charity

Any ideas on what to do with it welcome - and yes Im ready for the worst 🙂

Short of text voting on the X Factor or calling a dodgy phone line is there anything Ive missed?

I did think in this day and age I could text to pay for something, anything in fact, to use it up but all thats available with this is a parking meter and I have no plans to drive anywhere anytime soon

Cheers

Yes I usually find actually phoning someone helps this, perhaps a mistress lady friend...

phone Giff Gaff head office and talk to them for 100 minutes about how upset you are that you can't get a refund on their minutes?

Enter the Gadget Show competition and few times. May actually win something (probably not though)

donate to charity

worthy ones I think are the lifeboat fund, samaritans, air ambulance etc.

plenty where you just text an amount to a 5 digit number.
