Going to be staying in East Runton, so best to Cromer/Sheringham, on Thursday till Sun. Managed to time it perfectly to miss the heatwave.

At the moment I am out of commission with a busted knee, so usual big walky type stuff is limited. So any recommendations on food/activities getting about (trains/buses)?

Or is it crabbing and fish and chips for 4 days 👍🦀

Pier is nice in Cromer Coastal hopper bus is fairly decent and actually goes on the coast road for the most part so good views. Blakney/Cley next the Sea good for pottering.Rocket House cafe in Cromer on the front does a very good coffee (and lunch).

Good advice above, perhaps the coast hopper to Sheringham and then the Poppy Line to holt for lunch in Byfords. The Henry blogg museum in Cromer is worth a look if you have any interest in the RNLI and is free as is the lifeboat house on the pier. Blakney defiantly worth a visit, perhaps a visit to Wiveton farm cafe if you’ve watched Normal For Norfolk ... you might even get to meet Desmond!

This place has a good reputation locally if you like greek food.

And if you like NT properties Felbrigg Hall is worth a look.

Oh and Norwich is a nice city to spend some time looking around, directly linked by train from Cromer.

Usually some stuff going on at Holkham Hall.  There's also a bird sanctuary place inland that's worth a visit - name escapes me.  They filmed Springwatch there for a series or two I think.

If you're a golfer, there are great courses at Cromer and Sheringham and Hunstanton.
