Currently in the very centre. By the train station. I think we will leave at 4:30
If no traffic problems then an hour is enough, but at that time it'll be busy and a single bump can cause long tailbacks. I'd say your 4.30pm start is perfect as if no traffic issues it'll give plenty of time for a wee beverage and a look around the shops in Edinburgh Airport which these days are not too bad.

The centre of Glasgow is in the middle, just like every other city centre. 🙂
But leaving at 4:30 will give you plenty time to get there for 7pm without any panic, well that's if there's no accidents.
Yes two stations but only a few minutes apart by car.
