What's the best compact digital camera I can get for under £50?
In common with most folks on here that ask What *item* questions I'm looking for the moon on a stick... 😀
I'd like some optical zoom (doesn't need to be massive amounts, I can (probably) stand closer to what I want to photograph if I want it to be bigger in the frame)
One that takes AAA or AA batteries would be preferred so save carrying a specific charger.

Nikon compact that takes AA batteries, with a 5x optical zoom and reduced from £80 to £50. It's even available in a range of colours.
