[Closed] What portable speaker do I need?

We need it to do several things.
1. Our telly speakers aren’t as good as they were, so we’d like to connect it to a speaker via a 3.5 mm socket. A remote control would be useful in this instance. We would only connect it when something worth watching was on. Not that often.
2. Our iPod dock at the shop is fine for internet radio and iTunes but sounds really muffled when listening to Bbc radio player. So we need something that can really boost a poor sound source.
3. Just general use in the shed. I guess if it’s good for 2 ,3 wont be an issue.
I did borrow a bose mini speaker and that wasn’t up to the job of boosting the radio player.
Does what I need exist?

We have an ion road blocker
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B006ZZU7XE/ref=mp_s_a_1_10?ie=UTF8&qid=1509868541&sr=8-10&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=ion+speaker&dpPl=1&dpID=51rFt3S5JAL&ref=plSrch
Which we find pretty useful and might fit the bill.
It has a 3.5mm line in, Bluetooth compatible, it’s mains powered, but can run on internal battery for ages, packs a decent sound and isn’t stupidly expensive.
We use it for kids parties / bbqs etc although the girls also use it in their rooms

Downsides. It doesn’t have a remote, and looks a tad ugly / cheap and I’m sure the audiophiles will turn their noses up at the sound quality.

I notice there is an upgraded version that is splashproof and doesn’t look as cheap
