I need to ask because my old phone, a HTC HD2 has been dreadful. When I can access email it's so slow I might as well drive to my customer. Webpages just freeze once I've opened more than one page. It's crap to navigate. The battery lasts about 2/3 hours. And I can't get any apps, except one which was endomondo. Though because the battery wears out so quick it won't last a ride. Or if someone calls the app stops.

So £200 on a T-Mobile contract.

I'm so out of touch.

That works out at £16.66 per month which is not much.

You really need to work out how many minutes/texts/data you need before looking at handsets.

Unless you are a very light user I think you will struggle to find even a basic smartphone on T-Mobile for your budget.

Samsung or Iphones seem the best out there, one of those.

I was in the T-Mobile the other day...

The Sony Experia S looks pretty nice & gets a good write up on tech radar.
The Samsung Galaxy S2 is also pretty nice & a mate of mine who has one thinks it is fantastic.
The HTC One is out or due out soon and that also gets good write ups.

There's also that new Nokia Lumia running Windows, but I have no experience of that.
£200 would probably also get you an iPhone I would have thought.

Only thing is with all of these is that heavy use will not really get you very far with the battery...

If you rely on your phone for work and checking e-mail perhaps a Blackberry would be more suited?

I've been very impressed with my Nokia Lumia 710 windows phone.
Nice and fast.
Not the tweakability of android, but that's not my thing.
I think Tmobile are doing these for about 150 at the moment.

Battery life is usually 2 days for my useage which isn't too heavy. I do push 2 email accounts, FB, Linked in, ebay, etc though.

I'd just like something suitable for work, I don't need to store on it. And at weekends I'd like to use some apps.

My battery if left unused is about 12 hours.
