The new Latenighttales by Trentemoller, and subsequently a Trentemoller album proper.

Also finally picked up a Kyuss album, looking forward to it.

Found Baby81 by BRMC on my harddrive, some good tracks on that too.

Low Anthem, White Denim and Tom Vek on rotation. The new ones from Tune-Yards and Gang Gang Dance are pretty good, too.

some new wave band called Austra, or are they already really well known and I just missed the boat? Sort of like Bjork, had a piece in the Grauniad yesterday

Technically 'new' as in 'recently released': Foo Fighters 'Wasting Light'

Although as it's Foo Fighters it's hardly groundbreaking 😉

It was a tiny bit groundbreaking, in that it was recorded direct to analogue tape with no protools editing in Dave Ghrol's garage..pretty unusual in this day and age.

Yeah, whole album is a bit much. Just thought it funny about the names.
Started by Joy Orbison (in a way)?
(I take that back - just seen jichael mackson go back to 2007)

Chutney13 - do you like Alex Smoke?

ourmaninthenorth....big +1 for Kurt Vile... amazing stuff. saw the cave singers a few weeks ago and met the band outside, I asked Peter Quirk what he was listening to and he recommended Kirt Vile. If you havent checked out the cave singers do so, they are awesome.

Downloaded a couple new things this week that I'm just getting round to listening to:

Wugazi - Wu Tang Clan x Fugazi Never listened to Fugazi before. Sounds good though.

Ghostfunk - Ghostface Killah x Funk

Oh, and

Oddest collaboration ever, but it's good. Think all of the above has swearing in it, so probably not best to play at work 🙂
