I often drop /kick / cover my phone in mud and cant be ar5ed with those stupid covers. My last one lasted 3 months so Im back on my old one but the battery/charging is effed. I use to have a rubbery nokia one, is there anything like that available these days?

Don’t want and fancy internet gey business, but camera and music would be good. I use Orange pay over the odds as you go.

I think it's called the Land Rover phone. It's about £300 though, so it must have a bit more to it than some rubberised outer.

Samsung one looks ok. Just remember not to get the Sony Ericsson C702 it's supposed to be dust/shock proof, ticks all the boxes as it has expandable memory, good camera, a-gps and is not a brick. However my gf and her brother have one each. The case and how the phone is made is just shocking. The case cracked and had paint rubbed off from just carrying it in the pocket. Case cracked, it was letting dust in easily and at some point her brother sat on it (he weights 63kg) and the screen broke. That was supposed to be a shock proof phone 🙂

Check Siemens M65, they look ok, but no memory card slot and camera is poor but they are cheap. Nokia made a new bike specific model and the rubberised Nokia had a newer brother with colour screen and camera.

Nokia 5500 Sport
Nokia 3720
Nokia 5140

Two newer Nokias that may tick all the boxes.

I've got an LG that cost £9.99 from Argos, and it's proved pretty bloody robust.

Second the Samsung - tough as the old boots and a fair phone as well - like mine a lot.

I've just got one of these:

Nokia 3720. It's water, dust and shock resistant.
