I need a new mail client to handle my personal stuff - three IMAP accounts, a couple of hotmail accounts and icloud. For the past seven or eight years I've been running Opera, which was great 'till they [s]climbed into bed with Chrome[/s] broke everything after version 12.
It needs to be compact (opera idling takes 290mb or ram), fast, with a good search facility. It cant be outlook as that's for my work stuff and Windows Live Mail has a habit of losing things.
So what would people recommend? It'd be nice to have something integrated with firefox - is Thunderbird what I'm looking for?
Well, I've used Live Mail since it was Internet Mail and News and never lost anything, so I'd chalk that down to user error. (-:
Thunderbird perhaps? I've not looked at it in years, mind.
