As in computer keyboard. I've got a massive G11 thing that takes too much desk space and I've just broken the spacebar. So, suggestions on a new one? What are chiclet style keys like to use? I've only ever used the switch type keys.

My main criteria are something slim but with a full range of keys (including keypad). I do a lot of coding and some gaming so something nice to type on and responsive. I kinda like the look of apple keyboards but dont like the price or that they only come insilver. Suggestions?

Oh, I also have a compressed nerve in my left wrist so something that'd not make that worse would be good!

I got one of these from Amazon

Full size, pretty slim. Not bad for a tenner. Missus prefers it to the older one we had for typing (more for being quieter I suspect...). USB fitting.

Limited IIRC. Vol up and down, mute and another I can't remember (sorry, not at home at mo). basically the 4 keys you can see on the top right fo the keyboard.

I'm typing this on a MS Comfort Curve Keyboard 2000 - quiet, shallow key depth, and cheap.

I work all day at a computer, and love my apple keyboards longtime. I find them being very flat and short-throw keys very good for typing on. I find mechanical keyboards an effort now I'm used to them. I also appreciate the desk space benefits of having no numpad (though you can get one with one, and it's fairly compact too).

Things to note:

The keyboards are small, but the key pitch is standard. No smaller keys or what have you.

Apple KBs are closer to US key layout than traditional british. For coding, # is somewhere awkward. Personally I map mine to standard GB layout, as it's what my brain's used to.

I've got some sort of lovely Logitech illuminated one.
It's very pretty but feels a bit fragile compared with the one at work that's put up with 4 years of daily abuse...

Where is the Windows key?

Wherever your keyboard map says it is. On the command key by default IIRC.
