Local surely?
+1 , we bought some once from a fair that was made a couple of miles away it was excellent.
People bring us honey back from holiday as they know how much we like it.
Heather honey is rather nice and so was a coniferous one we bought in Greece one year. They have a small setup at the back of the car park where my brother in law works that is farmed by the staff, they sell the honey to raise money for charity.
admittedly it should be local.. but Greek honey beats anything else that I've tasted by a country mile..
Here in China, they have Honey for every ailment and cooking you require.
Still tastes the same to me, although I get told (all the time, by the MIL, that I can't use this and that for different things)
Different flowers have 'different power' apparently
I think though, what ever you think tastes nice, spreads, uses nice is the best.
Also, local is great, the flowers, apples etc which you are used to, also pollinate the honey.

Best crappy pop song about jizz ever...
I am a bee keeper and the best honey ever ia when the bees make fresh combe ( less than a week) old and put honey in it bootiful
My Uncle has about 16 hives up Deeside in Scotland. It's a bit special 😀Heather honey is rather nice
Does that Manuka honey actually have any benefit in terms of greater energy etc or is it all bollox?
