Human Power Station? Eh?

They're trying to demonstrate in a way people can relate to how much electricity we use/waste each day...
Some fine bodies on some of those bikes. 🙂

It is becoming clearer, seems a little unplanned though, I mean, let them work out how to turn the kettle on before the experiment, maybe?

Well its more than slightly flawed by the energy lost during the cycling. They even pointed out how hot the motors were getting! So other than wasting what was probably 50% of the cyclists they did OK I suppose.. not a bad effort for cycling for 12 hours though.
