My lad doesn't want to go trick or treating (which I don't mind) so I said we can stay in, watch a film, eat dragons' eyeballs and drink bats' blood.
Any suggestions? Is Goosebumps any good? I thought maybe the Goonies? I am saving Gremlins for Christmas. Beetlejuice is a bit complicated, as I remember.
Over to STW...
IT.
Think I was 7 when I watched nightmare on elm Street.
Nightmare Before Christmas
Coraline
Seconded
Ghostbusters?
Goonies
Beetlejuice.
I though The lost boys but just checked it’s a 15 so another vote for goonies or time bandits.
The exorcist
Hocus Pocus
Paranorman
Monster House
The Hole (Joe Dante)
Jumanji
We had to turn off Goosebumps for my 8 year old but everyone is different.
Hotel Transylvania (and 2) are pretty good.
We have Goosebumps on now- 6 almost 7 year old hiding behind a cushion a lot
Frankenweenie - although at 7 my cousin whilst babysitting, thought that the children of the corn was suitable, I couldn't sleep for a week!
An American Werewolf in London.
Ghos****ch
Thanks people, couple of good ideas in there. I think I'd rather have live action rather than animation, does It have a circus theme?
Flight of the Navigator.
Land Before Time.
There is a lovely little Austrialian film about 2 sheep and a duck... I think it's called the "Baa Baa Duck." I'm sure it is fine for a 7-year-old.
Trailer here:
Made my arse open and close with a bang when I watched it!
Alternatively, I would recommend... "Hotel Transylvania" It's good fun and won't have them sittng in a corner rocking in a feotal postition until 3am.
The first poltergeist. They're here!
Infact "Hotel Transylvania" is on ITV 2 tonight at 7.05pm.
