I can eat really hot curries and other spicy dishes without issue.
Cheese and onion pies/pasties - a breeze.

But if I eat a couple radishes, I'm reaching for the Gaviscon. And I love those crunchy punchy little beggars!

What lights the touchpaper in your gullet?

Anything greasy at all when I used to do nightshifts.

Mainly just eating too quickly or eating too much IME.

Doner Kebab flavor pringles. I won't be eating those again.

Were they nice though?

Fatty stuff normally. Any kind of pie normally has me looking for rennies an hour later. It was a lot worse when I was overweight though. Very rarely get it now.

White wine, particularly fizzy (but not always).

Chocolate even in tiny amounts, white wine. Don't consume much of either though.

Gregg's cheese and onion pasties.

Proof that God hates me.

'American Hot' pizzas from our local pizza place. As I'm gulping down gaviscon Mrs Binners fixes me with a look that's a mix of pity and contempt and says 'why do you do this to yourself?'

Brutal the next morning too, so it's a double whammy

Nothing... i am proper Northern..

Binners get a grip, ring sting is just a Northern colon cleanse.

I am reliably informed Bicarbonate of Soda is the best thing for heart burn.

Without descending into wine snobbery... probably avoid Muscadet or anything else "sur Lies".
(Where the leaves go in as well)

I'm exactly the same with champagne and any traditional sparling using the champagne method
About the only thing does give me heartburn as well.

Chip butties if there isn't sufficient butter to lubricate them.

Pretty much anything dairy related including all the good stuff
Shortbread
Ice cream
Scones
Still eat them occasionally to test if they still trigger heartburn, the answer is always yes sadly!

Not a food as such but too much coffee. Which is such a drag as I'm bloomin addicted to the stuff.

In terms of food; any quantity of onions and over-eating of anything at all
