Get in from work about 6:30 give or take, change, eat hang out with the kids, put them to bed about 8 then veg out I front of the to from 8:30-9 til 10 then go to bed. Nothing interesting in the week these days, but if I find shed work earlier I'd be back racing kayaks for sure.
My evenings are mostly made up of change baby for bed, read baby story, cooking, eating, tv, or computer. I a few months when mini CD stops breast feeding I can add putting her too bed in to the mix. In the summer I used to ride or garden in the eve but I guess I've never really fully utilised them.
Home 6.30. Make dinner. Eat dinner. Tidy mess.Pretend to myself i will go out for a cycle/run. Find excuse to sit on couch. Browse here/check late work mail. Might even speak to the mrs. maybes watch tv. Bed at 930/10. Up before 6 to start again.

..... on CFH's carpet.
That explains why it's so sticky all the time. Every time I run naked through his living room (when they're all asleep) I get sticky feet 🙁
Tonight I cooked dinner for three of us, helped my daughter with her homework, washed up then drove into town to pick up my son and his friend from diving. Got back home, heated up his dinner and did some more washing up. I've just sat down and put Let it Bleed on the turntable. I'll listen side one then finish washing up before deciding on side two. I'm reading Bill Brysons book on 1927 but it's taking a long time as I usually only manage 4 or 5 pages before falling asleep. My other half has just started teaching so I'm effectively a single parent at the moment. I'm considering going out on my bike tomorrow even though the weather looks biblical as it's the only chance I'll get.
Monday - leg it from work to yoga. After yoga check in to hotel.
Tuesday - work, then either meet a friend family or just head back to hotel, read book
Wednesday - train home from London, read book on way
Thursday - cook, eat, watch TV, make night owl daughter eventually go to bed
Friday - takeaway pizza with Mrs North & daughter, TV
Saturday - eat out, eat in, chill
Sunday - cook, finish ironing, pack, watch a film once daughter asleep
Repeat.
Home 5:30pm (26mile round commute) put bike in the garage ,shower ,eat dinner with wife n kids, wash up walk the dog help kids with homework ,put kids to bed ,TV or computer sometimes bit of bike tinkering in the garage then bed up at 4am to start again ..except tomorrow Im off so out on the MTB regardless of the weather surprisingly torrential rain forecast !...summer evenings differ more time in the garden out on the bike local trails
Monday work late, eat, fall asleep on the sofa, wake realise it's 2 am and better go bed.
Tuesday finish early, bike ride or turbo for an hour, eat, fall asleep on sofa, wake realise it's 2 am and better go bed.
Wednesday finish mid evening, go mates, eat at mates, drink coffee at mates, fall asleep at mates and get told to " ** wake up and * off home " 😀
Thursday work really late, eat, fall asleep on sofa............
Friday finish about 4, chippy tea, curry at mates, spend Saturday not eating as ate 2 days of calories on Friday.
Tuesday/Thursday? Ride

Wed good chance of pub
Friday? Pub
Apart from that random TV on streaming, STW, catching up with people back up North and at the moment job searches/applications
Mostly sit staring vacantly at the TV occasionally talking with MrsWCA
Sometimes dreaming up crazy/inspired ideas such as:
Big Bike Bash
Southampton Bike Oark
Designing and building a car
Designing and building a cabin with sauna and hot tub.
Baby Bike Bash
Dick about on the Internet/STW
Play my guitar/sing songs/attempt to write music
Play with my log burner
Watch films/series on our projector
Cook nice food
Work is running a bit later than normal, busy time of year
Try to get home in time to see the kids, bedtime around 7.15-7.30
Then have dinner, walk the dog, watch TV, faff about with a few bits
Cook nice food
Chat
Listen to the radio/mixcloud
Bit of social media
Maybe a film or a couple of episodes of something
My partner is working evenings this week so I'm carrying on painting until 9pm whilst listening to podcasts
Some evenings - night ride 🙂
Failing that, food/booze, watch Family Guy marathons, fall asleep.
I set up webcams in CFH's house and sell the recordings for a small fortune,if only the editing didn't take so long.
Come in from work.
Have dinner.
Read stories.
Put kids to bed.
Go downstairs.
Go back upstairs.
Put kids to bed again.
Get glass of water for kids.
Put kids to bed again.
Get special teddy for kids.
Put kids to bed again.
Go downstairs.
Go back upstairs and shout at kids.
Give up and go to bed.Sometimes we throw in a little housework just to keep things interesting.
I guess that's what I've got to look forward to - at the moment our little dude is in a cotbed so can't escapte (yet) but that doesn't stop him standing up and throwing stuff out. Or waking up.
At the moment, I'm on bedtime duty Mondy, Wednesday and Friday. I ride or run Tuesday and Thursdays.
I'm in about 6, the other half arrives home slightlty after with the little dude who then runs about untidting anything I've tidied up before they get home. About half six it's bath time then story, milk and bed. At the moment I'm trying to do some exercise once he's in bed - weights or turbo. After that its shower, dinner and in bed for 10-ish as he's up anyime from 5.

weekday evening, 60-90 minute ride home, shower, dinner with the fam, fill dishwasher, make lunches for next day, get kit out for next day, do any bike tweaking, sit down, watch a bit of tv, chat with any family member that wants to speak to me (usually a cat) :), bed around 10, read for a bit. Exciting isn't it. The weekend is far more rock 'n' roll.

Yeh I got it, hunter s Thompson died aged 67, that was my point.
😆
I've also dropped from 1 hour+ commutes to 30 mins and trying to work out what to do with all the extra time.
So far, it's more exercise, wasting time surfing and STW and generally enjoying having more time to get things done whilst still being able to get a full night's sleep by going to bed at a decent time instead of still rushing around at 11pm trying to get my to-do list finished...
General routine is feed kids, do homework with kids, bath kids, put kids to bed, give kids a cuddle, put kids back to bed (this could continue for some time), tidy kitchen and wash up, do the odd bits and bobs I need to do for myself, sit on the sofa, bed.
Once upon a time an occasional night ride figured in all this but that seems to have gone out the window this year. One night a week I'm away with work and perhaps once or twice a month I have a mid-week trip to the local ale house. Too much time is spent in the house in general 🙁

I go that. It was for the benefit of the rest. Although he did kill himself so we can't really blame the drugs...
**** all at the moment apart for DIY. Often a trip to the cinema with a BOGOF code makes for a cheap evening, and despite having netflix at home it's nice to go see a film without the distraction of a phone, laptop, dinner, etc.
