Had one for 3 years, never had any problems and perfect for normal internet browsing, would defo buy again.
Had one for two years, it was bollocks. Anecdotal evidence, it's worthless!
I also had a Samsung stereo in the early 90's, that broke...clearly evidence of a sinister and far-reaching conspiracy against me by dark forces within the Korean industrial base.
Great machines for what they are, best machines running Windows IMO.
Can be had for £100 less with only 6GB of RAM in store though, which makes it much better value still!
Hmm reet mixed bag there, will have a play @ JL
Had a notebook for 2 years, motherboard knackered. Reflowed, knackered again. Only came with 1 year warranty. Crap. I wouldn't buy another.
Laptops might not be made to last 1 year in Azerbijackistan like my notebook seemed to be.
didnt somebody put a link of an i5 processor laptop on here the other day for £399? acer i think?
I have one. A Q530. Been running it for just over a year. Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and a little bit of Solidworks 3d CAD. Seems ok. Actually much better than my previous Acer...but that could just be windows 7 versus windows vista.....
Only came with 1 year warranty. Crap. I wouldn't buy another.
Care to elaborate on any machines that come with more than a 1 year warranty please... Cos none that I know do!
All manufacturers have a failure rate, Samsung are probably one of the more reliable, but you'll undoubtedly find people that have had a bad experience with any make, Apple included.
