Because I need a lump of it to tempt the buggers out from from inside my monitor. It's like looking at a cross between an ant farm and a 90s screen saver.
And how can something so small be so very itchy? (Or was my girflfriend talking about something else? -I'm confused.)

This will put the fear of God into them and flush them out.

I’ve none of that left to tempt them out.

Dunno about flies, but that certainly got my cats attention.
She’s currently glued to the tv

They eat plants and there are over 6000 species world wide.

There's a lot more than 6000 species of plant world wide.

Thrips. They eat their way inside your eyeballs, and cause those funny out of focus floaty things you can see against bright backgrounds.

Thunder, but they will make do with electricity in an emergency. 😉

Anyway. In terms of getting rid (or having less of them) they tend to breed in the damp soil in plant pots. If you’ve got pot plants in the house try not the over water then - let top half inch of soil dry out for a while.

You can treat the soil in the pots too

Some were having a party in amongst the onions we had in our kitchen too. They didn’t seem to be off but chucking the onions out reduced the numbers of thrips in the house pretty significantly.

Or in fruit, or in your food recycling, or in many other things in your house. We used to call them beer flies as they are attracted to that, and at this time of year have to put a lid on anything alcoholic, while not being drunk, as there will be several drownded flies in there very quickly.

Just press the screen and squash one.

(And then immediately realise what a completely stupid action that was, you'll never forget 🙂 )

They eat this. Spray it in your monitor and they'll gobble it up in no time (vegans, please look away)

Would those cockroaches you used to get to walk all over the inside of your screen work?
