help me out fellow hoomans.

mrsconsequence keeps asking me what i want... i'm one of those typical chaps who 'doesn't really want anything' and if i do, then i buy it for myself instead of waiting and hoping somebody buys it for me.

thus, i am a nightmare when it comes to birthdays and christmas 🙄

any suggestions? silly, sensible, techy, cool, bike-based.. i'm open minded!

i've already been told i can't have a shiny new bike due to cost, and i'm pretty certain mrsconsequence will be able to scrape the funds together to bring dinosaurs back to life for me!

When's your birthday?

I've been given a gift list of what what the mrs wants for hers...

A polar bear.
A flying pony.
An ice rink.
A flappy footed duck.

having sex on a bouncy castle requires careful control of rhythm and momentum, something STWers aren't great at judging by how many have been to see jedi 😆

EDIT - soon yeti, sooon! i'll thank you in advance for the covert 😈

A year's subscription to the 12 month beer club from Brewery Tap (he is a forum lurker).

I have had that for the last two years and enjoy it immensely.

It's mine on the 2nd of November, and I'm in a similar quandary. Just bought myself a new helmet, and I'm awaiting delivery of a new commuter (marin lombard) on the bikes for the nhs scheme, so I'll be expecting something non-bike related. Tell you what phil, I'll touch the hen of destiny when I go to work this afternoon, and see if his plumage of mystery reveals any answers.

Hmm, add me to the "not sure what I want for my birthday in November" list.

A new suit perhaps? Sad I know but I do need one.
A new watch? I have 7 already and clearly don't need any more, but...

I dunno about this year but, when I was asked by my mum what I wanted last year, she was most upset that I said a torque wrench. I got jewellery and liked it...

I would have thought a nice breifcase would be the number one choice.

Nice bottle of whisky or a threesome.

Or both ideally.

Hey Emsz!!

I think emsz has it right - all the best presents are where you get to DO something. Doesn't matter what, really, so long as it is something new and with friends...

Skills course? I did that with Dirt School up at Glentress as a birthday present and it was great.

thats what i normally end up asking for... " tell everyone i dont want anything, it'd just be nice to spend time with them"

the end result is i get to see lots of friends but mrsconsequence (who i get to see all the time) buys me things like a tesco value potato peeler... because she was finding our potato peeler uncomforable 😆

i have the week off for my birthday, tattoo booked on the friday.. but other than that i'm completely free to see as many friends as i can cram in which is cool

EDIT - done a skills day with mr jedi already 🙂 would've been my suggestion if i hadnt though!

I think the best presents are where someone gets you something you really like or that suits you really well but which you wouldn't have found yourself.

Something that shows they put a lot of thought into it or that they know you very well.

Photos of bouncy boobs sounds like an ideal birthday present. 🙂

mrsconsequence hand-makes cards for our buddy jo, they always involve as many boob photos as we can cut out of zoo/nuts etc 😀

mrsconsequence sounds like an enlightened being... she probably already knows what to get you.

EDIT: how's about a print-out of Derek the Emotionally Sensitive Ninja with added boob pictures?
