So, I guess as i'm still going into work I'm not REALLY 100% locked down, but for the purposes of social spirit imagine I am...!

So I'm really getting into the Zwift group rides Weeksy is organising - great fun..

Another challenge i've set myself, started yesterday, is to do daily:
100 pull ups
100 squats
100 push ups
200 sit ups
i.e 500 body weight reps daily...

I've seen a vid of some chap doing a THOUSAND, which is pretty good going!
Going to document my weight/abdo fat mm as the 30 days goes by..

Anyone else doing similar type challenges at home? I guess missing the gym drives us to insanity!

Did Ben Lomond on the garden steps, the only steps in the house, 1372 times up the 3 steps that total 71cm....

Not in a rush to do it again. 🙂

5km run round the garden, approx 84 circuits, which means 84 times up n down those steps too...

Nobeer!!
What the!! Like a ferret doing loops of his cage!

Reminds me of the chap that 'everested' on a fixie..on a road with 3m elevation or something daft! He rode hundreds of miles up and down a NEARLY flat street!

Given up alcohol to offset the pizza consumption.

I'm counting the number of coronavirus/lockdown related threads on STW. Can't keep up I tell ya. 🤔

Seem to be working more than normal and then eating more "comfort" food when I get home.

Mostly lying on my back trying to ease the pain from a dysfunctional SI joint, which flared up the day I came home from work, and has taken nearly 3 weeks to get to the point of walking up and down the stairs unaided.

I will not be fitter at the end of all this...

I am baking a lot of different breads, pizzas and cakes.

I am also making the most of the dry ground to explore an OS map and find some forgotten trails locally.

Overall, I think the pizza and bread is winning and my work clothes may be a bit of a squeeze when this is all over.

Building a trail in my woods for the kids and I. Not sure what will finish first, the trail or the lockdown. Probably the lockdown.

Bought a doorway pullup bar and using it throughout the day. Can also do presups and sit-ups with it. Plus my isolated hour on the bike.

I don't want to alarm people with my extreme behaviour.

But yesterday I washed a bike.

Learning to do press-ups. At the start of lockdown I could do maybe 5. I’m now at 25.
Washed and serviced my bikes.
Polished all my formal shoes.
Still not started the ironing.

Still working. but on reduced hours.

Filling my afternoons with C25K three days a week. Short rides on the other two days, exploring bridleways near me. Longer, local rides at the weekend. Also doing a Squat Challenge and a Plank Challenge.
All this exercise, coupled with the early starts and a diet, means I sleep well at night but don't function well in the mornings.

Doing DIY jobs I would have got round to in 2029 without this lockdown.

Also running. Lots of running and finding imaginative routes to avoid gates that need touched.

I'm going to read some of the novels sat forlornly on my Kindle app. Interspersed with doing one-arm press-ups.

Is this the one-handed literature I've heard so much about?

Full lockdown here, and only allowed out for essential tasks (and that doesn't include exercise...) So I've stopped crushing the plastic and cans before they go in the recycling bag, gives me an excuse to at least get out of the house to throw the rubbish away most days.

Playing a lot of guitar. Ordered a new guitar setup to get back into a bit of gigging when I finally move to Weymouth.
Cataloging photos on my drives. Dumping loads of photos. Edited (mainly dumped) thousands of 35mm transparancies from my work days.
Finally doing a couple of short films from far too much GoPro footage. Haven't even owned a GoPro for 2 years. Then I can dump all the footage.
And alternate days ride to shops (7 mile round trip including the field edges to the back of the house. I may stop on the latter part of the ride to drink a beer in the sunshine...
The in between days do a road ride of up to 15 miles locally. Just taking it easy and happy to equal PBs from last summer when I was lighter and fitter but on a slower bike.
