bikebouy - ditto. But my meeting is happening in front of me. One reason to sit at the head of the table. And to type quietly.

I'm not preparing a presentation on how we're going to strip a 14 storey building back to its frame and rebuild it, cheaper and in less time than anyone else, while providing a better service and quality than anyone else. Shortly, I'll be putting moons on sticks 🙄

Edit - or not 😉

Making a phone call to the most talkative woman in the world, who can spend 20 mins telling you about how she got to the circumstance that she now wants to ask you something about, then 20 mins telling you why she needs it done, then 10 mins actually asking the questions she wanted to ask then recapping about how great it will be for you to answer it for the next 20 minutes.

Revising Laplace Transforms and Fourier Series for a test I have in two weeks.

I spent three years studying those in a degree on Feedback Control Theory before everything was just simulated on computers. Loved it at the time, but can only remember a few random facts e.g. 1/s is a Unit step function. I miss maths...
