Out early with Murr for a road spin. Minus 5 on quiet hilly back roads in Fife. Coffee and cake at the Loch Leven cafe. Cakes almost good enough to rival those at Inshriach.
Back home, the ground was still frozen in the afternoon to reclaim some Elm from the field without getting stuck with the trailer. I loaded the last few logs as the sun set.
Perfect day for me. How was yours?
Tank store nearly full.

Tree limbs in the trailer, trunks still to tackle

I walked my mates Cocker Spaniel puppy for a gerzillion miles in the woods.

*wishes he could have a dog*
Some work for the splitter there.
Did 30 miler half against a vicious headwind, coming back was a blast.
Happy here.
I cleaned my toenails. I win.
I walked the second leg of the Sandstone trail, from Beeston Castle in Cheshire over the Bickerton hills to Whitchurch in Shorpshire around 21miles it was a grand day out. Also got chased by two different herds of cattle.
You altered the colours there pete?
I left me GF off to the airport for a 6-week absence, had a run, spoke to some teachers about teaching, now making an impact online ๐

McM - what was your route?
A long lie, stuffed my face, ran a cheeky wee 10 miler, a hot bath, the proceeded to stuff my face again..this runing malarky is costing me a fortune in food!
Oh and MC you might want to reinforce the floor of that [s]****ed old water tank[/s] wood shed
Stuartie thinking of primary, despite attempts top put me off.
Did my first grade one gully up the back of Beinn an Dothaid today, and we did the blackmount traverse the day before. Good weekend all round ๐
I'm secondary so not sure I could give you any useful advice on primary. You'd be in demand though - very skewed F:M ratio.
You altered the colours there pete?
No, it was a beautiful sunset.
McM - what was your route?
Just a loop out to and around Knockhill and back via Cleish.

I noticed that, the weak spot is where I cut through an outlet. I'll try and prop it up with a section of telegraph pole and a HiLift jack.
I've got a fantastic 65 mile circuit from Kinross we'll need to do some day soon Mc.

Sign me up.
Went out for a long ride this morning and was slightly overdressed for the weather. Missed a sign on the SDW and found a long downhill to a pub which was nice. Spent a fair bit of the journey having to push brake pistons back into the caliper as my braker lever had seized so it was quite some going on the ride. Other than that it was an awesome day, weather wise and productivity.
Flight of the Navigator was on this afternoon too so that really completed my SUnday afetrnoon!
I went to the park with my daughter and she's finally getting the hang of her scooter, didn't even mind falling off.
Then we played football for a bit and she realy loved it, but she enjoyed scoring a goal past me so much that she wee'ed herself. So we came home.
cool, nice picture.
You look well pleased with yourself in the last one! ๐

I think you'll find that is my 70 year old mother helping out!
good day for me.. an unreliable old riding buddy turned up as arranged ๐ฏ
he brought with him a cheerful disposition.. a desire for a look around the local trails.. and a fresh pub bike for the yunki household..
great weather.. trails were ace.. good company.. good times
(sore knee now though)
A solitary 5 and bit hours mopping up every trail (and a few extra bits) at a very frosty CyB.Given that it's an hour from my front door -I barely go once a year.
