It's been a moderately bad week for eating, a terrible week for riding and exercising, and finally, a bad one for thinking.

I was honoured to have hosted an important meeting with an ambassador today, together with a member of the Welsh Assembly. But it took a lot out of me, and now I just want to have a beer, some tortillas, and go to bed.

The thing is, I've already overshot my calorie limit for the day. And so I am turning to you.

Distract me please. Or entertain me. Or buy my road bike so I can dream about getting a new one. Or something. 😐

Half the world is starving .
For you not to enjoy the food so readily available to us insults them. Most of the world don't have a beer either. Crack it open.

The concept of a calorie limit is alien to me.

Or you could get up early tomorrow and do some pre-breakfast exercise to make up for it

I just serviced the new to me Rebas to go on the Salsa. Nice and free of stiction but feeling a bit over damped. Hope they loosen up.

Now watching the middle of Terminator Salvation which the Mrs was watching whilst I was in the garage. Just lots of fighting and explosions, rather dull.

My week started with a five mile bike push due to mech hanger snappage & forgetting to take a chain link.doh.
It finished with my car's MOT and large service. Driving home my oil pump died.
Towed back to garage this morning. 😥

On the bright side , I'm now pleased I changed the shifters and rebuilt the vtwin brake thingy on the cross bike because it looks like I'm commuting via bike for a day or two.

When I get home I intend to eat a full pack of chocolate digestives.

Do not assume that the garage who carried out the major service did not contribute to the oilpump failure.
That is a very rare occurance as it sits in an oil bath ( or it should if they remembered to put new oil in )

Imagine you've not eaten anything, then have a pizza.

It's easy if you try.
