Hi i need some cash and i need to sell my private number plate, were is the best place to sell it please? its M2 MWH
what a coincidence, I was going to ask a similar question.
Ive just bought a new car with the plate R11 CEV - apparently it was for the owner's wife a "V Rice".
I dont want it. Anyone here called "V Rice" and want it for a the price of a tow bar?
I doubt you'll sell it quickly.
Ebay would be the quickest place but probably won't get much money. Other than that you'll just have to list it with one of the plate companies.
Sadly, I don't know anyone called V R11ce or m2mhw
that's coz you typed it wrong Dave. Its R11 CEV, not r11 cev.
HTH
Ah, you're in luck then, I do know a Mr R11CEV
Does anyone have "0MG WTF"?
I've got: T19HON, bought for a TVR TYPHON that never turned up 🙁
Pay £25 every year in the hope they re-open the factory and build the bugger!
used to have, M4AAD but sold it on ebay
ebay seems to work if you want a quick sale
Loads of places online. You'ld be surprised how little they go for nowadays. Once you've swapped your old plates back might not be worth it.
I'ev got P155 OFF
I would like to have 'B45TARD' as a personalised plate.
Sadly I do not own a car, or even possess a full Driving Licence. 🙁

Buy the plate and hang it loosely from your neck
Best one I saw was A2 WAT. 😀
Yeah, could do that, Beastie Boys styleee!
Yay! 😀
Thank you Davidtaylforth.

Pistonheads might be worth a try?
Shame BMW never made the M2......

B45TARD isn't even a possbile combination!

Thank you Davidtylforth.

I saw G SPOT recently...
I've seen PEN 1S. That made me giggle
Was that on Hora's car?
And FUKW1T would suit you better....
Oh that's nice isn't it? Marvellous... 😥
I advertised mine in a few places but National Numbers got me the best deal by far and did all the paperwork. Made 400% profit too 🙂

I rarely find private plates funny, but did see one on a Newish Porsche that read MR 5 1NCH.
Didn't some bloke get a Cortina many moons ago that happened to have the plate ELV 1S then sold the plate for much more than the car could ever have been worth?
Or is that just an urban myth?
there's a P111OCK somewhere near Shipley
and in Leeds there's a Merc with what looks like YEE HAA but obviously that's not a valid combination
There was A111HAD on a car knocking around Henley when I was a lad carefully spaced to read All I Had and there is M15 SPY in Southampton
Need to change mine as people keep thinking its a bloody T reg...
Now where is that B reg plate...
I changed my forum name when I got a car with the reg WW05 WAS.
I was looking at plates a bit ago.
D48 REN was £4500.............is stuck my usual one!
Best one I ever saw was one of these MG hot hatch things (ZR? maybe), BRG with orange trim, with the plate KN03 HED.
I'm having trouble believing that in nine hours, no-one's called you on "WERE" either.
Saw S1CKN today, on an average newish Honda
bought 911 OMN 21 years ago (isle of man plate) for £25 meant to get OMN 911 too but couldn't be arsed. its on a silver C4 Grand Picasso. at least it makes it easier to find amongst all the other ones when i'm "over the water" in Cameron's dream land....
Had S44BDR for a Saab that I never bought. The Saab Doctor garage was not interested when I came to sell it so eventually I let it lapse. Also wanted S22OOT for my father who shoots 22...
Ring one of the directors at MWH (a civil enginnering company) and offer to sell it to them
Mini Cooper around here with SL0W ME.
I had a Jaguar with the plate A11 JAG. I sold it for £1000 and thought myself very clever.
Two years later it sold for £15,000. Ah.
There used to be a woman in Southend with the plate BRA 38D on a Merc SL, many years ago though....
Bloke I worked with had a Sierra with A115TAR (AllStar) on it. He tried to sell it to the All Star fuel company, but they weren't interested...
